What is the Faculty of Communication and Culture?

Students in the Faculty of Communication and Culture are interested in non-traditional, emerging degrees that prepare them to participate in a dynamic and changing world.

The faculty is one of just a few in North America specializing in interdisciplinary programs. This means we don't teach or research only one specialized area of study. Research and classroom learning teaches you to look at themes, issues, and problems from multiple perspectives-and that's the best way to learn to deal with the complexities of the 21^st Century.

Our degree programs share a common vision-they are concerned with how culture is shaped and reproduced through the practices of communication.
